Levels of Hell fire
----------------------
Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim

Islam teaches that Hell is a real place prepared by Allah for those who do not believe in Him.Due to some linguistic evidence and context of certain Hadith, some scholars have stated that Hell is in the heavens, yet others say it is in the lower earth.

Allah, The Most High, Says:

“On the Day when We will say to Hell: ‘Are you filled?’ It will say, ‘Are there any more (to come)?’” (Qāf: 30)

The Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:

“If a stone as big as seven pregnant camels was thrown from the edge of Hell, it would fly through it for seventy years, and yet it would not reach the bottom.” (Sahih al-Jami’)

Hell has various levels of heat and punishment, each is reserved according to the extent of their disbelief and sins of those being punished:

The First Gate: 'Jahannam' - It will invite disbelievers.

The Second Gate: 'Ladha' - It will invite those who abandoned Tawhid.

The Third Gate: 'Saqar' - It will invite those who

i) did not pray
ii) were used to vain talk and
iii) denied the Day of Recompense

The Fourth Gate: 'Al Hutamah' - It will invite those who

i) loved money more than Allah
ii) speak ill of people behind their backs

The Fifth Gate: 'Jaheem' -It will invite those who did not encourage the feeding of the poor.

The Sixth Gate: 'Sa'eer' -It will invite those who turned away from that which the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) came with.

The Seventh Gate: 'Al Haawiyah' -It will invite hypocrites/pretenders.

Allah, The Most High, Says:

"Surely the hypocrites will be in the basest bottom of the Fire; and you will never find for them a ready vindicator." (An-Nisā: 145)
